We will do a walk-through of your home, which allows us to evaluate what items you are taking with you and what steps will be taken to make sure you are ready for your relocation.
TLC Ladies offers a complete package to help your move go as effortlessly as possible or you may pick and choose different services for your individual needs. Our fees are determined by the size and contents of each individual move.
TLC Ladies works with individuals and retirement communities throughout Lancaster, Lebanon, Berks and Dauphin Counties. Our services are not limited to new arrivals, but cover in-house moves (such as independent living to personal care), unit size changes, renovating unit cycles and others.

Preparation & Planning

Professional Packing
We use quality packing materials (including – boxes, packing paper, tape, and any special required packing materials).
TLC Ladies will photograph several items, this helps to recreate the feel of the former home when unpacking your new home. We understand the importance of keeping familiarity amid the hustle and bustle of your move.
Moving Day
On moving day, TLC Ladies will complete final packing, including linens, lamps, breakfast dishes, etc. as well as, meet and direct the contracted mover.
Unpack & Settle In
TLC Ladies will work with the moving company at the new home to make sure furniture and boxes are placed correctly. TLC Ladies will then unpack and set-up kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, etc. The unpacking and placement of all personal items including plugging in the lamps, alarm clocks, and telephones, as well as, making the beds, reflects the personal touches necessary to feel at home from the very first day!
After all unpacking and placement of your items is complete, we take all the cartons and materials with us. If you wish to keep the boxes for future use, they are available at an reasonable rate.
